A multi-level competition called the Chemistry Olympiad is created to encourage and boost success in high school chemistry. All high school students from across the world are eligible to compete in chemistry olympiads.
Students can be proud to take part in any Olympiad competition level in order to test their chemical expertise and build relationships with other students and members of the national or international chemistry communities that may last a lifetime.
The program for the Chemistry Olympiad seeks to:
- Encourage young people to flourish in chemistry by praising deserving pupils and, in doing so, inspiring further learning at a crucial juncture in their intellectual growth.
- Recognize the importance of the educational environment and the good performance of the teachers.
- Challenge young kids’ understanding of and proficiency with chemicals in a global setting.
- Promote cross-cultural encounters and familiarize students with their own characteristics and those of people from other countries.
